Hello, I am Dr. Juan C. Santillan, a licensed clinical psychologist based in Brea, California, and the founder of Nsight Therapy. I created Nsight from a deep passion for offering a fresh, innovative approach to psychology. Its mission centers on inspiring and motivating clients through meaningful insight - a tenet that is central to our name. Its purpose is to support each client by exploring creative, personalized strategies to foster lasting change. I firmly believe that everyone has the potential to live a fulfilling life, and while we may occasionally need guidance to unlock that potential, it is always within our reach.

My own journey began many years ago. Although life directed me along various paths, it was the support and encouragement from those who truly “saw” me that ultimately led me to the field of psychology. My work is deeply meaningful, and I bring genuine care and compassion to every client I see. I take the time to thoroughly understand each individual, considering the full scope of their unique experiences. I recognize that everyone comes to therapy seeking change, and my most important role is to support them through that transformative process. Since embarking on this career, I have cherished every moment and look forward to many more years of meeting new and remarkable clients.

My background is diverse. I have worked with a broad range of disorders, including severe psychotic, mood, trauma-related, and substance use disorders. Additionally, I have supported individuals seeking greater self-understanding and those embarking on new and exciting personal journeys.

My experience spans multiple settings, such as inpatient residential treatment facilities, hospitals, college universities, and community mental health centers. These opportunities have given me a profound appreciation for the daily struggles and mental health challenges people face. Now, in private practice, I apply these experiences to support a wide variety of individuals.
